CHICAGO, PRNewswire/ -- May 16, 2022 The new national campaign "Good Leads The Way" from United Airlines was unveiled today. The nationwide campaign, which was created in collaboration with creative agency of record 72andSunny, is United's first fully integrated national brand advertising campaign in almost ten years. It features over 60 actual employees, the most ever in a single United content series, and more than 150 distinct pieces of film, digital, social, and out-of-home content.
Beginning this week, viewers will be able to view Good Leads The Way content in airport terminals, on United flights, on television commercials, on streaming services, on billboards, on social media, and in other unusual, contextually relevant, and distinctive locations. The inauguration of this service marks the beginning of the summer travel season and a record surge in demand. With 88 percent of seats filled in April, United's seat fill-in rate was the highest for a non-summer month.
The InitiativeThe integrated creative campaign's distinct elements each reflect a chapter in United's brand identity story. Its goal is to produce captivating advertisements that tell compelling stories about the advantages for customers, employees, and the community. From dynamic live billboards tracking the amount of connections saved on United to an iconic film, no two pieces are alike.
"At United, doing the right thing is the foundation of all we say and do. That's why we faced difficult questions for our business even in the midst of the pandemic. Josh Earnest, chief communications officer for United, said, "We faced them head-on with optimism and a determination to be a force for good for our customers and the communities we serve." "As the industry emerges from the pandemic, we are entering a historic new era of commercial travel, which makes it the right time to unveil our ambitious 'Good Leads The Way' campaign."
